The TourPure II 365 Driver Series reflect the last designs of McHenry's late founder, the legendary Gary V. Adams, the "father of the metal wood" and founder of TaylorMade Golf. The TourPure II 365 Series was further refined to maximize distance and accuracy by renowned designer, Richard Parente, co-founder and former president of Callaway Golf, and now the exclusive designer for McHenry Golf.

Annapolis, MD, Palm Desert, CA ­ November 6, 2002 ; McHenry Metals Golf Designs, Inc. (the "Company") today announced the purchase of all golf related assets from McHenry Metals Golf Corporation. The Company also announced that Richard Parente has joined the Company as Senior Director of Design on an exclusive basis. Experienced golf industry executive Jim Lawrence, has also joined the Company, as Director of Strategic Development.

Under an asset purchase agreement recently signed between the two companies McHenry Metals Golf Designs, Inc., has acquired all golf related assets from McHenry Metals Golf Corporation including all company and product names and trademarks, and the right to use the name of the late Gary V. Adams. Also included in the purchase were numerous Gary V. Adams club designs. With offices located in Annapolis, MD and Palm Desert, CA, McHenry Metals Golf Designs is owned by a group of investors in Maryland and California.

Richard Parente's experience as a PGA Professional, Industry Executive, holder of over 20 golf patents and co-inventor of the CNC milled golf club process showcases an unparalleled background in the creation of quality high performance golf equipment. During his Callaway Golf tenure, he co-invented and patented the short hosel design (s2h2) on which the entire Callaway driver line is now based. He also designed many of the oversize drivers and irons that are popular today. Parente was first to apply numerically computer-controlled methods for the manufacture and production of milled putters, creating a new industry within an industry. Parente's methods were a major industry breakthrough, offering manufacturers the ability to mass-produce putters in a milled form, without the one-of-a-kind price. Parente also founded Golf Laboratories, Inc., an independent testing company, which uses advanced robotics for testing, research and development. His club design work always incorporates both robotic and player testing during the R&D phase. This has given him an advantage in designing products technically superior to competitive products.

Mr. Lawrence has over 25 years experience in the golf industry as both a PGA Golf Professional and in senior level positions with several golf companies. After a 19-year career as a PGA Professional and including tenure as a North Florida PGA Officer and Executive Board Member he joined Snake Eyes Golf in 1994 as Assistant CEO. While with Snake Eyes he was instrumental in establishing the company's successful sales and marketing programs. In 1996, he joined Wood Bros. Golf Company as President, where he was responsible for the company's sale to new owners. From 1997 to 2000, he was President/CEO of Composites Dynamics, Inc., a technology innovative graphite golf shaft company. Mr. Lawrence's background has provided him with extensive relationships in the golf equipment distribution network, golf media affiliates, PGA of America Members and liaisons as well as many respected associations with several PGA Tour Players.
