the new "Jointless Titanium Tip Technology". This patent
pending technology integrates a layer of titanium onto the tip
section of this new shaft.Titanium is fused around Harrison's
high-quality"X-5200" graphite to create the first and
only graphite/titanium-tipped shaft. Due to its small diameter,
the tip section of the shaft is usually the weakest portion of
the shaft. It is less stable, twists more, and upon impact with
the golf ball, it tends to generate secondary vibrations, commonly
known as noise in the acoustic industry. The revolutionary Titanium
Lite shaft retains the optimal play characteristics of a high
performance graphite shaft. In addition, the 3T technology enhances
the stability of the shaft where it is most needed, at the tip.
This reduces shaft twisting to promote more precise shot making.
Titanium is an extremely strong and lightweight metal. By layering
titanium over graphite, Harrison was able to increase the shaft's
tip stability while retaining its light weight. Furthermore,
the Titanium Lite's jointless one-piece construction allows its
tip section to retain a traditional flex profile, despite the
increased rigidity. Simply stated, the Titanium Tip still flexes
like a graphite shaft while it works to reduce hooks and slices.
